Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to lead and manage all aspects of our Nutraceuticals, Dietary Supplements, and OTC Medicines business in the U.S. This senior executive role will focus on driving revenue growth, managing key customer relationships, and expanding market presence across multiple sales channels.

This is a unique opportunity for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader to make a significant impact in a competitive and growing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for the profitability and loss management of the business.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify key market opportunities and create tailored plans to increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including wholesalers, distributors, and group purchasing organizations (GPOs).
  •  Expand and optimize sales channels, including direct-to-consumer (D2C), retail, and business-to-business (B2B) models.
  • Establish connections with buyers in national, regional, and independent grocery channels to enhance brand visibility and sales.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Lead pricing and contract negotiations to achieve competitive positioning and optimal profitability.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and track performance against targets, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, regulatory affairs, and supply chain teams to align on product launches and promotional activities.
  • Create and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or dietary supplements industry, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth in competitive markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the U.S. generic pharmaceutical and/or dietary supplements market, including regulatory landscape, pricing dynamics, and customer needs.
